Physic-Chemical and microbiological characterization of agroindustrial waste

Metanogenia performs a statistical study of the waste generated by the agri-food industry and takes representative samples of them. Once in the laboratory the samples are mixed in the proportions in which they are generated in the industry, and different analyzes are carried out to determine the physicochemical properties of the residues. Based on the results obtained, it is possible to quantify the pollutant potential of the by-products and, more importantly, to estimate the biogas production that can be obtained after anaerobic treatment, to determine the necessary pretreatments, as well as to detect possible inhibitors that may affect to the biological process.
